(a) Angela Safety Pty Ltd (ACN 657919483) (“Angela Safety”, “we” and “us”) at all times seeks to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”).

(d) This Privacy Policy sets out our approach to handling personal information when you visit our website (“Website”) or use the Angela Safety phone app (“App”).

(b) If you nominate to share your location during installation of the App, the App will use your location for various purposes necessary to provide and enhance the App’s services. This includes, but is not limited to, determining nearby venues (using Google Maps) for check-in, personalising content, and improving user experience.
(c) You may provide basic information such as your name, phone number, address and email address to enable us to send information and provide updates. We may collect additional information at other times, including but not limited to, when you provide feedback, when you provide information about your personal or business affairs, change your content or email preference, respond to surveys and/or promotions, provide financial or credit card information, or communicate with our customer support.
(d) Additionally, we may also collect any other information you provide while interacting with us.
3. How we collect your personal information
(a) Angela Safety collects personal information from you in a variety of ways, including when you interact with us electronically or in person, when you access our Website, use the App and when we provide our services to you.
(b) We may receive personal information from third parties. If we do, we will protect it as set out in this Privacy Policy.
(c) We may collect information about you that is publicly available (for example from public registers or social media) or made available by third parties. For instance, we do this where:
(i) we need information from third parties about an application you make through us;
(ii) we need information for fraud prevention purposes;
(iii) you have consented to third parties sharing it with us;
(iv) at your request, we exchange information with your legal or financial advisers or other representatives.

(a) Angela Safety may use personal information collected from you to:
(i) to provide the service or product you have requested;
(ii) to answer your requests and complaints;
(iii) to identify opportunities to improve our service to you;
(iv) to prevent, detect or investigate any fraud or crime, or any suspected fraud or crime;
(v) to comply with law, regulation or codes binding us; and
(vi) for any purpose for which you have given your consent.
(b) If you nominate to share your location during installation of the App, the App will use your location for various purposes necessary to provide and enhance the App’s services. (d) The Website and/or App may make third party social media features available to its users. We cannot ensure the security of any information you choose to make public in a social media feature. Also, we cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy.
(e) Angela Safety may contact you by a variety of measures including, but not limited to telephone, email, SMS or mail.
5. Disclosure of your personal information
(a) We may disclose your personal information to any of our employees, officers, insurers, professional advisers, agents, suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.
(b) We may disclose your personal information to third-party service providers who help us run the App, some of whom are located outside Australia. Our third-party service providers are bound by contract to only use your personal information on our behalf, under our instructions.

(f) Information that we collect may from time to time be stored, processed in or transferred between parties located in countries outside of Australia.

Where we disclose your personal information to third parties, we will request that the third party follow this Privacy Policy regarding handling your personal information.

7. Hosting and International Data Transfers
(a) The hosting facilities for our Website and App are situated in Australia and the United States.
(b) Your personal information may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. We use Google LLC to provide hosting services for the App.

(a) Angela Safety is committed to ensuring that the information you provide to us is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure information and protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification and disclosure.
(b) The transmission and exchange of information is carried out at your own risk. We cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us or receive from us. Although we take measures to safeguard against unauthorised disclosures of information, we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will not be disclosed in a manner that is inconsistent with this Privacy Policy.
